Vexcel's 3D SAR Processing System (tm) is a complete capability for receiving, archiving and processing data from ERS, JERS and Radarsat satellites. The system is fully configurable to receive data from any one or all three satellites with a single hardwaresystem. Included in the Vexcel provided hardware is a VME based Level Zero Processing subsystem that captures the live downlink and writes it to disk. The data processing, including the SAR image formation processing is performed using a high-end UNIX workstation.
