| Abstract |
In the framework of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) Working Group on Calibration and Validation, a SAR Workshop is to be held at the Edwin Scharff Haus, Ulm, Germany from 27-28 May 2004 coinciding in part with and providing an extension to the EUSAR 2004 conference. The SAR workshop will be coordinated by the European Space Agency. The objective of the workshop is to provide an open forum for the presentation and discussion of current and future issues related to the calibration and validation of SAR imagery. The workshop shall take the format of formal presentation sessions related to specific topics for which seed questions will have been formulated by the session chairmen. At the end of each presentation session the responsible chairman shall initiate a discussion based on the seed questions for each of which an answer should be agreed, recommendations made or a way forward suggested by all those participating in the session.
