| Abstract |
Updated and expanded digital maps of India are now available. They serve as the basis for working with corporate or potential data. In the administrative section, the map package consists of 35 federal states and 604 districts. The map showing the 6-digit postcodes (pin codes) consists of 26,869 areas. In this way, GfK MACON has a complete map of all areas. The official names and identification numbers of all areas are included without exception. The map set is supplemented by additional topographical maps showing urban features, rivers, railway lines and major roads. In geographical information systems (GIS), digital maps serve as the basis for all sales planning, market and customer analysis and location planning issues. The GfK MACON maps are available for ESRI and MapInfo products, as well as the marketing and sales software RegioGraph and DISTRICT. The India set will be ready for shipment in mid-February.
