| Abstract |
The objective was to study the state and evolution of biophysical land cover in the Morvan and Verdon Regional Parks in France. The work was carried out for the Ministry of the Environment, the Park Authorities and for the National Federation of Parks.
Landsat TM data were evaluated in units of 2 or 5 ha by computer aided photo interpretation. The data were combined with digital elevation models, samples of aerial photos and maps. End user products include maps, statistics, digital GIS data and a better park management.
