| Abstract |
Ever since operational meteorology began, M t o-France
public meteorological service has been dedicated to the
design, developement, implementation and maintenance of
all systems and procedures required for weather forecasting.
To this end, it has build up expertise in a wide range of
scientific and technical fields, developed ultra-powerful
computer models, and established a direct observation
network covering France and beyond.
