| Abstract |
In 1990, the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) launched a project to make its archive data files and other ocean data sets available on CD-ROM. This summary lists the CD-ROM data sets released to date. The NODC has also installed a CD-ROM recorder and can now provide customers with data selected from its archive data files on recordable CD-ROMs, as well as on magnetic tape, diskette or over the Internet by FTP.
