| Abstract |
The ultimate goal of this project is to contribute with
remote sensing data to the understanding of the
geographical as well as the temporal variability of
land-surface processes in the Mediterranean area with
special emphasis on an early detection of tendencies
towards aridification and desertification. Methods of
satellite data evaluation will be applied for the whole
Mediterranean basin that are presently being developed
under the EFEDA project.
