RapidEye is an Earth observation mission of RapidEye AG of Brandenburg (a city south-west of Berlin), Germany, that includes a constellation of five minisatellites. The mission will provide high-resolution (6.5 m) multispectral imagery along with an operational GIS (Geographic Information System) service on a commercial basis.
