| Abstract |
The final product will be produced so as to be ready for sale to customers. This product will be a validated wind-energy map of the Norwegian west coast. The final product will be available in the following formats: - Traditional hard copy map with latitude/longitude grid on the scale requested by the customer; - Digital map on CD-ROM; - Interactive digital map on Internet using Java technology (or similar tool) where customers can derive total available wind energy for a region of interest. Customers that will be targeted for sale of the final product are those listed as primary-target customers in our previous correspondence. In addition, other customers that are interested in wind-energy estimates of the Norwegian west coast will be contacted. In addition to the physical final product, NERSC and Terra Orbit will by the end of the project have a validated method that can be used globally. Also included in the final product are reports, marketing plans, and PR material for customer demonstrations, as described in the project proposal.
