Vexcel Corporation, a global leader in earth observation technologies and services, has taken the lead in providing data acquisition and processing systems for the Japanese Advanced Land Observation Satellite (ALOS) launched January 23 of this year. In preparation of this landmark event, Vexcel has developed ALOS ground systems and processing solutions, immediately available, for organizations wishing to leverage the benefits of the spacecrafts onboard instruments: the Panchromatic Remote-sensing Instrument of Stereo Mapping (PRISM), the Advanced Visible and Near Infrared Radiometer-2 (AVNIR-2) and Phased Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (PALSAR) sensors. Vexcels position as the leading provider of multi-mission ground systems solutions is strengthened by this latest addition to its suite of supported satellites. |
