| Abstract |
WEFAX is the retransmission of low-resolution infrared and visible satellite imagery and graphical meteorological data to low cost satellite ground receiving stations located within the footprint of geostationary satellites. NESDIS manages the U.S. program, which provides access to NOAA GOES and POES as well as European Meteosat satellite imagery, Japanese GMS, NWS charts and polar satellite orbital elements (TBUS).
