The site gives you access to high resolution SPOT images. The SPOT data show a collection of
image sequences of 12 locations of recent forest/platantation fires and smoke haze over Southeast
Asia. The images are an excellent example of how remote sensing can contribute to monitoring large
scale fires. The example data contain maps and different dates showing the extent of the fires.
