Staring SpotLight view of Durban, South Africa
This TerraSAR-X image, acquired 10 July 2013, shows the port of Durban, in South Africa. The image was produced in the new Staring SpotLight mode, which provides a resolution down to half a meter and enhanced radiometric quality reveal the crucial details and takes SAR-based object detection and recognition for Image Intelligence (IMINT) and GEOINT applications to a new level. This acquisition clearly shows the enhanced details visible in the building structures and details of ships and containers in the imaged harbour area of Durban.
